DOING BUSINESS IN LATVIA
If you have decided to start your own business in Latvia, first you have to establish a company in Latvia. Select a name and decide on the type of business – individual merchant, limited liability company, joint-stock company, branch and representative office.
STEP ONE – registration a company in the Commercial Register of Latvia, set up a bank account
STEP TWO – register as a tax payer at the State Revenue Service
STEP THREE – register your main activity type in the State Revenue Service
STEP FOUR – registration of employees, workplace and working tools
